Who doesn’t love a good burlesque show? There’s burlesque…and then there’s OMG-I’ll-just-pick-my-jaw-up burlesque…
Melbourne-based theatre company, Full-Skirted Productions, are putting on a couple of shows at Chapel off Chapel in August. ‘That’s nice,’ you say, ‘but what’s that got to do with burlesque?’ Well, the girls at Full-Skirted sure know how to open a theatre season with a bang and they’re doing it this Sunday at The Order of Melbourne with Doll Face, a fantastic extravaganza dripping with burlesque, circus, music, a vintage auction and very special cocktails. Did someone say very special cocktails? Hellz YE—AAAHHHH!!!!
Be mesmerised by Lady Diamond, Lelisha and Ella Holmes; sit back and enjoy some jazz or buy yourself a little something from the auction in what promises to be a wonderfully exhiliarating night of entertainment and for 20 bucks, there’s absolutely NO reason for you not to frock up and get your glam on. Do it!
